Whisky Rebelion:
Hamilton recommended a ten-cent tax on every gallon of domestically produced alcohal. At a time when the majority of Americans were farmers, and some, if not all of these farmers distilled their own whisky or bourbon, this seemed to Hamilton a fair tax, one that would be spread out evenly across the spectrum of American citizens. At first President Washington was not so sure; he worried how the settlers in the backwoods would react to the tax. These were among the poorest families in the nation, most of them scraping by on farms of one hundred acres or less.So in 1791 Washington made a tour of western Virginia and western Pennsylvania, where there were many frontier communities. Unfortunately, he didn’t travel very far into the woods. Instead he was met along the way by local government officials who told they would pay it without complaint. Washington believed the local officials and returned to Philadelphia where he gave his support to Hamilton’s tax plan. Not a good idea.Of course, the people of the back woods were not all happy. They could not exist without the whiskey they distilled, and they did not have the dimes the tax collector demanded.
I am going to write about the problmes with Europe. Shortly after the American Revolution the French Revolution happened. Many Americanicas cheered because they felt like they started somthing by going against a country. Washington tried to keep people from choosing sides but that was very hard. Many rooted for the French because they helped America but other for Britian because taht was there original home. The French involved America with what was going on with Britain and them and also how the war was going. But thing slowly becan to get better but there we also many problems as the years went on and there still is...
The America we have today hasn't always been so, after the revolution the US had several challenges to face. One of which was the Wiskey Rebellion. The Wiskey Rebellion all started when the gov. needed money to get themselves out of debt so they started taxes on whiskey to help them. However the farmers in western Pennsylvania didnt like the idea one bit; the government was taking the money that they had worked for so hard. This was followed with violent protests and attacks on the tax collectors. By time Washington had the army there many of the men had fled and luckily the problem ended without a battle.
In the Whiskey Rebellion it was all about putting a tax on Whiskey. Alexander Hamilton chose to do this so that is would help pay the national debt. This angered the farmers very much. The farmers that made very little believed that they should be able to keep the money and not pay taxes. They thought the government was stealing their money.
Neutrality:
The French and the British went to war, and they wanted America to help fight. This was a bad situation because we were already haveing other challanges at the time. It was also a bad idea, because some people would fight with the French, while others would fight with Britan. If they would have chosen sides, the country would be fighting it's self too. That is why Washington set out the Neutrality Proclamation, saying that America would not be involved and would close their ports to all French or British war ships.
i think that the wiskey rebelion was a big deal. it was something that could have caused something like a civil war. i don't think its fair to tax the people derecly for making there money. that is way better than importing and cheaper to. i think that they should tax something that people don't trade as Equal of money. thats not fair, especialy since it was derected at one area
the whiskey Rebellion was about farmers lashing out to the government because they put taxes on whiskey. Whiskey was like money to them and when they put taxes on it they got mad. It like saying for every 5 dollars you have you have to pay the government 1 dollar. They were so mad that they tared and feathered tax collectors. They eventually died because of two things: they got burnt and there pours got cloged up. They did not want to two give there money that they made to the government because it was like stealing from them.
the whiskey rebelion was about the farmers not wanting to pay taxes on whiskey.so they called them selves the whiskey rebelion and try there best but failed .

The Whiskey Rebellion was an early challenge. The Whiskey Rebellion was because of taxes on alchohol. People got angry. They liked alchohol. But they didn't want to pay taxes on it.
The wiskey rebelliion was tax on wiskey. Hamliton desided to put tax on wiskey to help the national goverment. the farmers and people who bought wiskey werent happy with it so they went to george washington and he got his army and went to the store keeper and told him to stop the taxes on wiskey or he will die.
Foreign Relations:
Recently appointed president, George Washington had many problems that he had to face in order to get this great country on it's way. To begin with, foreign relations was probably one of the biggest problems that our country had to face. Without having foreign relations, we would be unable to get out of our debt to France, and would be in huge trouble. If we fixed this we'd pay off the debt, be able to create a stronger military, and might not have the same problems we have today such as a 12 Trillion dollar debt. Once out of debt, we'd then also be able to expand out west even faster, and might actually be able to pay people to CARE for the Natives that already lived there. The nation could possibly take on a whole new image, border-wise. If the debt had been taken care of, it's a possibility that we could have owned the entire North America. (best scenario)
Whiskey Rebellion:
The whiskey rebellion was a tax on whiskey in order to pay off the national debt. This was one of the issues that made the colonists even more mad. The Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton decided to put a 25% tax on all whiskey items. It didn't affect the people who bought the whiskey, it affected the farmers and the ones who sold it. This was also the first time that an American President lead a group of solders into a battle.
The Whiskey Rebellion was when farmers and other people started a rebellion for taxes on whiskey to pay for their own national debt. This was when and the only time a president led his troops into battle.
The Whiskey Rebellion was when they taxed the people on whiskey so they could get rid of the debt.
This made the people mad because it affected the sales of the people who sold it.
The Wiskey Rebellion was a big event in history. It was about Alexander Hamilton putting tax on wiskey. Mainly it was the farmers that got mad cause some of them got paid in Wiskey and by putting tax on the wiskey it was like taking away part of their money earned for working. They lashed out big time. He decided to put a twenty percent taxt on all of the items dealing with Wiskey.
Whiskey rebellion was about putting taxes on whiskey. this was so they could pay national debt. Hamilton put tax on all whiskey items. The farmers were the ones affected by it, because they had to sell it to get money for there lives.
Whiskey Rebellion
This started in 1791.The Whiskey Rebillion was tax on whiskey. This is one of the problems why the colonies were made about. This effected the farmers not the people who bout the whiskey. A mob were burning down buildings for it. This tax was the pay off the national debt. In 1791 Alexander Hamilton convinced Congress to approve taxes on alcohol and carriages.
I think that the wiskey rebelion was a big deal. It was just very bad for the farmers due to the tax on the whiskey. The government had to put the tax on the whiskey because of the national debt. This was one of the issues that made the colonists even more mad. But they didn't want to pay taxes on it. It let to some fighting... and thats all
The Whiskey Rebellion. was a tax on whiskey. Many people got angry and formed the Whiskey Rebellion to try and stop the taxes but they failed. Because of George Washington's army.
